WELCOME
Whitehaven and District Amateur Operatic Society was established in 1904 and even 120 years later we are still committed to bringing Musical Theatre, Plays, and entertainment to life in our local area. We are a member of the National Operatic & Dramatic Association (NODA) and usually perform twice a year, staging both a play and a musical where possible. We are made up of members from age 8 to 80! The WADAOS family is a talented bunch and we are always looking for new members of all abilities, whether onstage or off.

Welcome to our website on behalf of the Committee and our Members.
Through this website we hope to share our mission, history, and information with you and indeed all our friends and supporters past and present.
You will also find information on all our upcoming productions. Whether you want to simply come and see a show, or wish to take part both on stage and off.
We have an extensive archive and much of it is available to you on this website. We are always happy to talk, answer questions, and provide information, you need only ask.
