It seems that 'The Enfield Haunting's' are due to return on stage this year. Many will remember to Television version that terrified the entire country some years ago. This time though it seems it takes on a lighter more 'funny' feel maybe the poltergeist have need to play games, who knows.
Catherine Tate is to star in it playing 'Peggy' the mother in the story. I have to say that I would find it very difficult indeed to watch her in such a role and take it seriously. I mean all I would be waiting for is the punch line or 'what a liberty'.
We will see though I am sure she is an outstanding Actor in her own right, without the laughs.

Ever wondered about those private boxes in theatres? Ever wanted to sit in one? All of that space instead of being cramped in the notoriously small chairs of London Theatres?
Well here's your chance. The Royal Albert Hall has a Grand Tier Box available for purchase (December 2023). All you will need is 3 Million pounds, yes you read that correctly three million!
Id love to but for me it's just too far away and after all the box isn't big enough for my liking anyway, I'll give someone else a chance on that one.
Having said that it would be nice to have for the last night of the proms but even so I think for that I'd want to be in the stalls where the fun is.
