Ulysses & Smike

Appeal

Back in 2003 Whitehaven and District amateur Operatic Society produced Ulysses with our junior section. It was Directed by Ricki Thorpe. I myself was a member of this cast. Along with the production of Smike the next year.

We unfortunately do not have a single image of Smike and currently have but one of the show Ulysses. We have asked before, but again we appeal to former members and the like to have a look around for any photos of these shows for our archive.

Everyone at WADAOS would by very appreciative of this.

Of course we would also love to see any photographs of any other production and such that you may have.

New Finds!

At the last WADAOS committee meeting our President Ripley Steele gave me a pen drive containing a good number of old photographs, unfortunately they were only negatives. I have been able to convert them into viewable images after some work. Having said that some of them have poor exposure and are of poor quality, others have come through great like the example below.

We are happy to produce them to you over the next couple of months so watch this space. We will be adding them to our already extensive archive here on the website for viewing.
